| 40 Years of FoSL in PicturesThe year 2001 marks the 40th Anniversary of the Peace Corps. As most readers of the FoSL Newsletter know, that also marks the 40th Anniversary of when Peace Corps sent volunteers to Sierra Leone. Though Peace Corps has not been in Sierra Leone in each of the last 40 years, FoSL members probably have been via missionaries, NGOs, the Worldbank or other organizations that have employed our members. In honor of the 40th Anniversary of Peace Corps, FoSL is soliciting your photographs from the last 40 years. We would like to post them on our Website in honor of the people we cherish and to show web surfers a little about life in Salone as we knew it. Please send your photo with the year it was taken and a brief explanation to Dave O’Neill, FoSL, P O Box 15875, Washington, DC 20003-0875. If you know how to scan your photo, please do that instead and e-mail it to: jamie@fosalone.org. Photos you send will be returned to you. |
