  • Daphne Sawyer-Dunn Scholarship - Paul School for the Blind, Bo, ongoing
  • Peace Corps Project - Sherry Browne PCV - Build latrines at Kolenten Secondary School in Kambia. This fund is available to current PCVs. The PC office in Freetown handles the application and recommendations. ($1863)
  • Batonga Foundation, Children Affected by War (CAW) - Educate young women 14 to 24 in a 2 year vocational program in Freetown. 25 girls and women selected from street children, refugees, single mothers, disabled, former sex workers. Taught tailoring, hairdressing, business principles. Also get non-formal education, medical check-ups and counseling. ($3000)
  • MedShare - Medical shipment to Moyamba Hospital ($3000)
  • Ebert Kakua School for the Deaf in Bo - Water system at school ($2373)
  • Maryland Sustanability Engineering - Solar power for Colaba Town Primary School, Western Freetown ($1000)
  • Magic Penny - Paving around primary school iin Bobpehtake, Moyamba District ($1250)

2011:

  • HIV/AIDS Awareness Cup – shipping football equipment ($1000)
  • Daphne Sawyer-Dunn Memorial – scholarships to the Paul School for the Blind ($250)
  • author Aminatta Forna’s school in Sierra Leone – reading and book signing for the Peace Corps 50th Anniversary celebration ($200)
